An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing business within the construction and specialist access solutions sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and commercially minded individual to play a key role in growing market share, developing new client relationships, and securing profitable project opportunities across a range of sectors including construction, infrastructure, public sector and facilities management.
The successful candidate will be joining a forward-thinking business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality specialist solutions across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, local authorities, and end users
- Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
- Prepare tailored proposals and quotations to meet client requirements
- Work closely with internal operational and design teams to support successful delivery
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and industry meetings
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales reporting
- Deliver excellent customer service and encourage repeat business
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience within a business development or sales role
- Strong track record of generating new business and hitting targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and commercially driven
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience within construction, access solutions, safety products, or a related industry
- Knowledge of tendering processes and frameworks
- CRM experience
Package
- Salary £35,000 – £45,000 DOE

Working Hours
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
